Text Box: A local Church is only as strong as the youth it
is introducing to Christ. A-Town’s purpose is to
share, teach, strengthen, love, and serve Jesus
Christ. We don't just sit in our building because
Jesus didn't. Jesus built relationships and
Community.

On this page we hope to introduce you to how
we follow Jesus’ example. Even better we would
love for you to come check us out on any Sunday
night at 5:30pm.

“The work has been done chiefly amongst the young; and
comparatively few others have been made partakers of it.
And indeed it has been so, when God has begun any great work
for the revival of his church; he has taken the young people,
and has cast off the old and stiff-necked generation.”
 -Jonathan Edwards

Sunday Night Worship Meetings
A-Town youth’s Sunday night meetings are a great introduction to our student program and a way to stay in touch with the A-Town community as a whole.  We worship Jesus, share His teachings, and hang-out with the community.  These meetings are open to any 6th-12th grader and are from 5:30-7:30pm in our Family Life Center.

Missional Study Groups
Too often small groups and Bible studies become exclusive. A-Town believes the study of God’s word is for all of His people. Our groups are open for all people of all ages, with an emphasis on students. Jesus not only wants people to be hearers of the word but also doers. Since we want to follow what Jesus said we keep our groups open in order to provide opportunity to share, teach, strengthen, love, and serve each other and the community we are apart of. After all, can you really chare if you doors are closed.
We currently offer to open study groups each week:
Wednesday at 6:30pm at Village Chapel UMC in room 220
Thursday at 7:00pm at Josh and Tabitha McDanel’s house. Please email jmcdanel@villagechapelumc.org for directions
